AboutAccess Community Therapies is a training clinic. We accept graduate student interns for a year long commitment. Interns receive 1 hour of 1:1 supervision per week, and 1-2 hours of group supervision per week. Placement is progressive- students start out learning about the clinic and getting orientated. Students build from observing sessions to co-facilitating, to taking on their own clients. Students have the opportunity to engage in individual counseling (children and adults), school based mental health, family counseling, groups, and co-facilitating trainings. Students also learn about private practice, marketing, program development, and insurance billing.
Interested candidates must submit a cover letter and CV prior to 4/1 of every year to be considered for fall placement. Please send these items and any inquiries to Erin Perez at [email protected] |
